Six-Eyed Scorpion isn’t your average chilli oil brand. Founded by Singaporean chef Sandra Seah this Melbourne-based company is shaking things up with its flavour-packed concoction, but their commitment goes beyond the heat. Six-Eyed Scorpion prioritises sustainability at every step, making them a leader in the condiment game for eco-conscious foodies.
After working in many of Melbourne’s top restaurants, Sandra always wished to have her own business. During the VIC lockdowns, Sandra had decided to use her spare time and talents to support her local community with home-cooked meals. While experimenting with new recipes and flavours, she created a crispy chilli oil that absolutely knocked off everyone’s socks.
What started as a personal passion project quickly grew into a full-fledged business, with Sandra’s infectious enthusiasm and the oil’s addictive flavour receiving acclaim from top chefs, home cooks, and flavour enthusiasts alike. Some people baulk at the “Six-Eyed Scorpion” moniker, wondering if they use scorpion in their products, but it was actually inspired by Sandra’s star sign – Scorpio!
Six-Eyed Scorpion understands that great flavour shouldn’t come at the cost of the environment.
While Sandra is the chef behind Six-Eyed Scorpion, her partner Jordana Adams is the designer.
